September 1, 2020, Highwood, IL – For Highwood Design Week 2020, marketing and design agency Street Level Studio (SLS) and interior design company DP Home Design will present a virtual discussion about creative ways the digital world is making an impact on interior design. The online event, TAD Talk: Technology And Design, will take place on Tuesday, September 22, at 10 a.m. CDT.
During the presentation, SLS and DP Home Design will take a closer look at two new approaches that are showing up in some of today’s most intelligently designed spaces—digitally created and printed custom wallcoverings and the integration of artistic décor elements with smart home technology including audio, lighting, and window treatment automation. Inspiration for the joint presentation arose when the two companies collaborated on the remodel of the Pullman mansion’s breakfast room for the 2020 Lake Forest Showhouse.
The TAD Talk is one of a series of live and virtual demonstrations, discussions, and events hosted by members of the Highwood Area Design District (HDD) for Highwood Design Week 2020, September 21–26. HDD is a Highwood Chamber of Commerce initiative designed to promote the city’s unique cluster of architectural, interior design, home décor, real estate, landscaping, and remodeling and construction businesses as a premier resource for homeowners and businesses seeking expert professional services.
