Renee and her best friend run an award-winning nonprofit, Mindful Waste, focused on eliminating food waste through education, prevention, and recovery.
With a BA in English from Kenyon College, Renee is well versed in the literary greats and has had a love affair with words since winning her elementary school’s poetry contest.
Happy both crafting copy and serving as a reader’s advocate, she has held a wide variety of editorial and communications roles, including assisting with WBEZ’s Stories on Stage, editing textbooks for McGraw Hill, writing scientific white papers, and managing newsletters for municipal governments.
