July 27, 2021, Highwood, IL – Design and marketing agency Street Level Studio (SLS) joined remodeling company The ABL Group in co-hosting “Wine, Design & Unwind” for Chicago-area design professionals on Thursday, July 22. The second in a series of networking and socializing events hosted by both companies, the evening’s activities took place inside and out on the patio of Street Level Studio’s creative workspace at 214 Green Bay Road, Highwood.
The centerpiece of the evening was a live demonstration of Beyond the Surface™ custom wallcoverings by Street Level Studio’s design process. Using SLS’s vestibule as an example, design elements including photography, text, and colors and the highresolution print quality of the bespoke wallcoverings were displayed on a projection screen. Pre-made print samples of SLS’s designs on different wallcovering substrates were available for guests to touch and feel. The ABL Group also showcased some of their custom cabinetry and fabric designs.
Attendees networked while enjoying a premium wine tasting provided by Vin Chicago, summer-fresh light bites from An Apple a Day Catering, and relaxing chair massages from Elements Massage Bannockburn. A variety of interior designers, architects, and design related businesses were present, as well as Algis Jaras from Fort Sheridan magazine, which covered the event
