Tanya Goes to KBIS
At Street Level Studio, we believe you can’t really be a strategic partner for clients unless you do the marketing equivalent of “walking a mile in their shoes.” So, mixed metaphors notwithstanding, we definitely go the distance to understand each client’s unique brand, business model, and marketplace objectives—even when that distance is almost 1,800 miles.
SLS President Tanya Fretheim recently returned from a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas where she joined Beko US, Inc. at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the industry’s largest showcase for the latest design and manufacturing trends.
Beko has been a Street Level Studio client since it entered the US market in 2017—after achieving household name status in 145 countries and becoming the #1 freestanding home appliance brand in Europe. Ever since, we’ve been helping them craft an authentic and authoritative brand strategy that resonates with American consumers as well as the architects, builders, and designers who set US trends.
Going the distance in this case meant demonstrating in person the strength of SLS’s support for Beko’s business goals. During the trip, Tanya walked way more than a mile on Beko’s behalf throughout the massive KBIS exhibit halls lined with more than 600 booths. She got to observe the competition up close and collect valuable intel about their products and go-to-market strategies. But more important, she spent time in the Beko booth getting priceless, feet-on-the-ground insights from the company’s product experts, sales leaders, dealers, distributors, and commercial customers.
That’s exactly the kind of intimate knowledge and understanding Street Level Studio will use to partner with Beko, drive compelling new creative approaches, and take the brand farther in 2020.
We’re glad Tanya’s back in the office sharing what she learned. She’s tired but inspired and ready for the next step!
Where do you and your company want to go? We’d love to go the distance with you.
